I was an A-student and pregnant at 15. I made one of the toughest adult decisions ever while I was still a child. And I have never regretted it. Not. One. Day. Anyone who knows my son can see why.
To this day, people ask me – wasn’t it hard? I still answer the same way – “well I guess so, I just didn’t know any other way”.
Obstacles are not something to be feared or resented. If they are, you are looking at them from a less than powerful place, you are looking at them from victimhood. Obstacles are in fact an opportunity to rise up! To grow, to challenge yourself and learn something new! And comparing your journey to someone else’s is robbing you of squeezing all the joy out of each day that you can.
Yes, the journey has been hard. And SO WORTH IT!
